MAGINERA was founded by Jeff Barnes, a creative strategist and producer with more than three decades of experience in design, editorial, branding, and content development. A former CEO and Creative Executive, Jeff’s career spans Hollywood visual effects, broadcast design, commercial production, theme park attractions, and a decade of emerging media development in Silicon Valley.
Based in northern Santa Barbara County, MAGINERA operates at the intersection of creativity, technology, and business. Jeff collaborates with a trusted network of award‑winning artists, designers, technologists, and producers to assemble bespoke teams that deliver each project with quality, imagination, and efficiency.
Jeff has built and led teams responsible for Emmy and Academy Award–winning work, served as Chair and Fellow of the Visual Effects Society, and is a member of the Television Academy and the Producers Guild of America.
